Getting Ready for Your PADI Open Water Diver Course

Before you even dip your fins into the water, the PADI Open Water Diver Course requires you to complete all your eLearning. But don’t worry—we’ve designed a unique and effective way to make learning easier and more engaging!

Instead of jumping straight into reading the manuals, we encourage you to start by watching the course videos first. Why? Because seeing the concepts in action before reading about them helps you understand the material more naturally. When you finally go through the manual, everything will make more sense, and you’ll be able to absorb the information more effectively.

Think of it like learning to cook a new dish—watching someone prepare it first makes it much easier to follow the recipe later. By using this approach, you’ll feel more confident when it’s time to put your knowledge into practice during your in-water sessions.

We’re here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring you don’t just pass the course but truly understand and enjoy the process of becoming a certified diver!

How else can I prepare for my course?

Completing all the eLearning materials will prepare you for enough for your pool training and ocean dives.
